CITY Seasons Muscat (CSM) hotel has been recently awarded the ISO 22000 certification as one of only two hotels in Oman to receive the title.
“The management involvement and pro-active approach has been the key driving force behind the success of the implementation,” said George Demitry, general manager of the hotel. “We are so proud to receive this award. This certification is yet another feather in our cap, as we always strive to offer guests the highest standards when it comes to food and beverage, while keeping the offering original, creative and elegantly presented. The food safety team is meticulously trained and strives to improve- standard of hygiene and sanitation, HACCP Plan, safe food processing, food handling practices as well as the implementation of food safety programme across the hotel.The certificate was awarded by John Rosario, certification manager, Bureau Veritas in Oman. The certification and international recognition come shortly after the announcement of the hotel as winner of The World Luxury Hotels Award as Best City Hotel in Muscat. This recent international award has set City Seasons Muscat as a strong brand in the hospitality field in Oman and comes as a result of continuous upgrade to the property and a strong vision to establish the brand in Oman, but also in other neighbouring countries.
