Four Seasons chef wins big at Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards

Rakan AlOraifi, senior chef de partie at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, has been awarded “Best Saudi Chef” at the 2018 Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards.

Chef AlOraifi studied culinary arts in California and has a comprehensive experience from working in international restaurants globally. He also participated in different local and international culinary competitions such as Horeca and Gulf Food Dubai Competition and has earned gold, silver, and bronze medals. Chef Rakan was also a contestant in the second season of the popular TV show “Top Chef’; where he earned unprecedented experience and fame.

“I am honoured to receive such recognition within my own country," said chef AlOraifi. “I celebrate my passion every day by cooking and receiving this award is definitely a milestone in my career. I will continue working on developing my skills and ensuring every dining experience for my guests is memorable and enjoyable.”
