Mercure Dubai Barsha names new GM

Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments has appointed Naseer Thodi as its new general manager.

With more than 20 years’ experience in various management roles within the hospitality industry, Thodi has extensive knowledge of what it takes to run a successful property in the Middle East, having been responsible for all aspects of operations throughout his career. In his more recent roles, he has provided leadership and strategic planning and counsel to all departments within leading international five-star hospitality chains.

Thodi has extensive experience working in the Saudi Arabian market having worked at a senior level in four properties in the country and also completed roles in Bahrain and India. He has been integral in pre-opening team set-ups and also has overseen the smooth-running of various operations to ensure maximum revenues are generated for all stakeholders.

Priding himself on achieving hotel targets; balancing profitability, employee and guest satisfaction, Thodi will be responsible for all aspects of operations at Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments and will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of the service culture. He will be looking to maximise operations and guest satisfaction whilst working very closely with the owner and other stakeholders as the property continues to undergo an extensive refurbishment as the largest Mercure in the world. - TradeArabia News Service
