Turkish Airlines restarts flights to French city Strasbourg

Turkish Airlines has restarted direct flights from its hub Istanbul to Strasbourg, thus adding the city to the list of its destinations in France. The national flag carrier will operate four weekly flights on the sector till October 25.

Turkish Airlines has restarted direct flights from its hub Istanbul to Strasbourg, thus adding the city to the list of its destinations in France. The national flag carrier will operate four weekly flights on the sector till October 25.
 
Announcing the relaunch of the flights, the Turkish airline said Strasbourg is its seventh destination in France linking its flight network that covers 124 countries of the world.
 
The airline started flights to Strasbourg Entzheim Airport from yesterday (May 31) thus becoming its third international destination this year after Sharjah in UAE and Marrakech in Morocco. 
 
The flight TK 1455 took off yesterday from Istanbul at 8.35am and landed in Strasbourg Entzheim Airport (SXB) at 10.45am. 
 
Turkish Airlines’ Southern Europe VP for Sales, Ömer Faruk Sönmez attended the inauguration ceremony held in Strasbourg to welcome the flight along with other senior French airport officials.
 
This flight will operate on Mondays and Fridays in this sector till October 25. On return, the flight TK 1456 will leave SXB at 11.40am and arrive in Istanbul at 3.30pm, said the statement form the flag carrier.
 
Its other service, TK 1457 will start operations from Istanbul tomorrow (June 2) taking off from the Turkish airport at 3.30pm and landing in SXB at 5.40pm. This flight will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays in this sector till October 23. On return, TK1458 will depart from SXB at 6.35pm and arrive in Istanbul at 10.25pm.
 
Established in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 335 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to 310 worldwide destinations as 260 international and 50 domestic, in 124 countries.-TradeArabia News Service
