Air India passengers stranded in Dubai for over 24 hours

Air India Passengers bound for Cochin, Kerala (India) from Dubai were left stranded for over 24 hours after the aircraft suffered an engineering glitch, said a report.

Flight AI934 was scheduled to depart Dubai at 1.30pm on Saturday but passengers were offloaded by the airline saying there was a technical fault, said a report in Gulf News.

The more than 200 passengers were provided hotel accommodation in Dubai till the issue was rectified, it said.

The Air Indian flight finally took off from Dubai on Sunday evening, arrived in Kochi at around 8pm the same day- more than 27 hours behind schedule, media reports confirmed.
