Six Senses Kocatas Mansions

Away from the masses, in the leafy Sariyer district of Istanbul’s European side, Six Senses Kocatas Mansions features two brand new restaurants, far-reaching views over the Bosphorus and the option to take over a whole floor or entire mansion.

With its high ceilings, gracious Ottoman-era styling and primary location in a green area, lush with beautiful laurel trees, the "Pearl of Bosphorus" Six Senses Kocatas Mansions will be offering locals and tourists an urban oasis from July 30, 2020.

This is a boutique hotel that has super-sized on space with its airy guestrooms and suites and two new restaurants showcasing local and international cuisine.

Styled by the restaurateur Richard Sandoval, Toro is a Pan-Latin and Asian Gastro Bar serving high-end Pan-South American and Asian cuisines. Defne is located in an old Ottoman cistern that has been converted into a restaurant by a team of skillful restorationists. The creative menu is inspired by the Eat With Six Senses philosophy of local, seasonable and delicious dishes. Both make a wonderful spot for lunch, which can also be served outdoors in the courtyard, an intimate dinner or long overdue celebration.

Stay more than one night and a visit to Old Istanbul is a must. With its abundant treasures, this peerless cultural melting pot of a city has survived since the dawn of history. It soon becomes clear that our lives are just a tiny chapter in the history of civilisation that dates back for millennia.

If you’re looking to stay before the end of the year, the special Reopening Offer rates are worth a look, and there’s a complimentary upgrade to a Bosphorus view for the whole of August.
