Cairo religious tourism forum focus on spiritual experience

Major companies in the hospitality and tourism sectors, including Dur Hospitality’s Makarem Hotels, participated in the International Forum for Tourism Programmes, Hotels, and Umrah Services, which was held on January 4-5 in Egypt’s capital, Cairo.

Makarem Hotels, Dur Hospitality’s hotel brand specialised in serving visitors of the holy cities Makkah and Madinah, participated in the International Forum for Tourism Programmes, Hotels, and Umrah Services, which was held on January 4-5 in Egypt’s capital, Cairo, alongside several major companies in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
 
Dur Hospitality President of Hotel Operations Hassan Al-Ahdab underscored Makarem’s role in facilitating the spiritual experience of pilgrims in line with the objectives of the Doyof Al Rahman Programme, aligned with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
 
Throwing light on the state-of-the-art offerings of Makarem in serving Umrah pilgrims and visitors, Al-Ahdab highlighted the launch of Makarem Ajyad Makkah, which reflects Dur’s strategy to lead the hospitality experience in the holy city, through sophisticated and modern services that enrich visitors’ spiritual journey.
 
He added that the services provided by Makarem Hotels, through its portfolio of six hotels (more than 1,500 rooms and suites) and its team, will offer visitors a specially curated programme, which begins with their entry until their departure, including the Spiritual Concierge service, free shuttle service from-to Haram, among others.
