Emirates Holidays’ Cyprus offers
EMIRATES Holidays is offering escapes to Cyprus, where guests can stay for three nights and pay two nights, or stay four nights and pay three nights from a choice of luxury hotels and resorts to complement Emirates Airline’s daily flights to Cyprus.
 In Limassol, the Four Seasons Hotel has three nights starting from Dh3,140 and at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel for four nights starting from Dh2,740.
In Larnaka, there is an offer from Palm Beach Hotel & Bungalows for three nights starting from Dh2,660 and at the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills Resort stay for three nights starting from Dh3,190.
Stay at the Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri for four nights starting from Dh3,490.
Most packages include an economy class airfare Dubai/Larnaka/Dubai, three or four nights’ accommodation with American breakfast, transfers airport/hotel/airport in a shared taxi, room tax and service charges. All prices are on twin sharing basis and valid until March 31.

ADNH net income jumps 27pc
ABU DHABI National Hotels (ADNH) reported a net operating profit of Dh456.2 million ($124 million) in 2008, a rise of 27.3 per cent over Dh358.4 million ($97.6 million) in 2007. Announcing the preliminary financial results ending December 31, 2008, ADNH said total operating revenue increased 29.5 per cent to Dh1,736.4 million from Dh1,349.6 million in 2007, while earnings generated from overseas and local investments trimmed net annual profits by 37.9 per cent to Dh292.7 million from Dh471,6 million in 2007. ADNH commended the company’s Hotel Division and other operational sectors’ achievements in 2008 and mentioned that with the addition of two new properties to its portfolio of hotels in 2009 namely, the Sofitel Jumeirah Beach and Al Diar Barsha Hotel and Apartments in Dubai, ADNH will add outstanding results and value for the company’s shareholders.

Third Crowne Plaza in Oman
CROWNE Plaza Sohar in Oman was officially opened by the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) along with SAMCO Hotels & Resorts. This will be IHG’s third Crowne Plaza property in the Sultanate. The hotel has 126 rooms, all with a private balcony, of which 44 deluxe bedrooms are designed for long stay guests. There are also six executive suites, which contain a living and dining room, kitchenette and a large private terrace. Dining options include The Restaurant, an all day dining outlet with open air terrace, The Mediterranean, a fine dining restaurant serving cuisine from Southern Europe, Levant and north Africa, and The Patisserie offering light snacks. Other leisure facilities include a resident bar and a sports bar which includes a four lane bowling alley along with other sports options. There is also a full service business centre with hi speed, wireless internet, two meeting rooms which lead to a private terrace and a ballroom that hosts up to 400 guests.
