The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM), Oman’s leading arts and culture organization, will be participating for the second consecutive year at this month's Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the region’s leading travel and tourism event, held in Dubai.

The event, taking place from April 25 to 28 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, will offer a strategic platform for ROHM to promote itself as a premier venue for musical arts and culture as well as highlight the sultanate’s cultural heritage and artistic engagement to a global audience.

ROHM will be located at Stand ME2110, which it will share with the Oman Ministry of Tourism.

Umberto Fanni, director general, Royal Opera House Muscat, said: “ROHM is a centre of excellence in global cultural engagement that entices audiences with its innovative, creative and artistic performances. ATM is a vital platform to reach out to potential tourists from the Middle East and the world and our participation at this year’s edition will enable us to connect with visitors from different target markets to shed light on our annual events, including opera, ballet, jazz, concerts, and Arab performances. We look forward to establish new partnerships at the four-day event, which will help us attract more tourists to Oman.”

Established through a Royal Decree of Sultan Qaboos, ROHM is a beacon of Oman’s diverse artistic and cultural expression. The high-tech venue for performing arts, which is a reflection of the sultanate’s contemporary architecture, is located in the Shatti Al-Qurm district of Muscat, Oman. The opera house complex consists of a concert theatre, auditorium, formal landscaped gardens, a cultural market with retail and luxury restaurants and an art centre for musical, theatrical and operatic productions, which can accommodate almost 1,100 people. World-renowned artists such as the tenors Placido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli, soprano Renee Fleming and cellist Yo Yo Ma along with the London Philharmonic Orchestra have performed at the ROHM. - TradeArabia News Service
