THE Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) received the Award of Excellence in e-government services as one of the most successful government agencies to apply the concept of e-government.
During the opening ceremony of the National Conference of E-government Transactions, organised by the Communication and Information Technology Commission in Riyadh city, Mohammad bin Ahmed Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, honored SCTA and handed over the award to Mis’ar bin Mohammad Al Mas’ar, director general of the information technology department at SCTA.
Al Mas’ar said: “This is an honour for SCTA and a recognition of its efforts in the technological field, it also comes as a crowning glory to the ambitious vision as adopted by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz to set SCTA as an example for applying concepts of e-government, technology education and awareness.”
