Abu Dhabi woos the Brazilian tourist

ABU DHABI Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) has launched a Brazilian-Portuguese version of its award-winning destination website.  The comprehensive online resource is now available in nine languages.

The introduction of the Brazilian-Portuguese version follows Etihad Airways’ launch, last June, of daily non-stop services from Sao Paolo to Abu Dhabi International Airport and Brazilian travel trade feedback on tactics needed to encourage the Brazilian traveller to a destination.

The move has been welcomed by Brazil’s Ambassador to the UAE, João de Mendonça Lima Neto, who anticipates it will spur increasing interest in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi-bound Brazilians can now rely on www.visitabudhabiae to search for hotels, flights and car rentals.

In addition to Portuguese, the site is available in English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, and Mandarin.
