3,500 meetings at TTM

The third chapter of Travel Trade Maldives 2019 (TTM 2019) was held from June 11 to 13, and TTN‘s editor, Rashi Sen, was invited as one of the speakers at the conference.

TTM is the largest platform in the country connecting the travel trade community of the Maldives to a global network of travel professionals. Gathering over 500 industry professionals from the top 160 resort properties, international trade agencies including leading tour operators and travel agents, media partners, international airlines and key industry stakeholders attended the annual trade fair.

Using the Connect software, registered users conducted over 3,500 pre-scheduled meetings with the most influential decision makers in the industry for three days.

TTM 2019 featured a Travel Summit: an invitation-only event that brings together over 220 industry leaders and shapers, and senior decision-makers who are professionally engaged in Maldives tourism. This year’s summit was focused on “Travel Technology & Analytics” helping the travel industry to unleash analytics, dynamic pricing, digital and AI potential to deliver unstoppable customer loyalty and profit.

The second Maldives Supplier Expo concluded successfully this year at TTM 2019 as well, with leading local and international suppliers represented. The Expo was targeted strictly towards the operational personnel of all tourism establishments.

In addition, TTM 2019 recognised the continuing support of all partners and the best performing travel agents and tour operators in the Maldives was awarded at the annual TTM Awards & Gala Night held at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi. The Gala Night featured an elegant multi-cultural banquet, live music, DJ and the chance to network with industry stakeholders.
