Gulf Air flies out of Istanbul amid recent snow storm

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has operated its first flight from Istanbul to return the first batch of stranded passengers to the kingdom following recent severe snow storms that resulted in halting air traffic in the Turkish city.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has operated its first flight from Istanbul to return the first batch of stranded passengers to the kingdom following recent severe snow storms that resulted in halting air traffic in the Turkish city.

The airline has operated a special flight from Tekirdag Çorlu Airport to Istanbul International Airport then to Bahrain International Airport as its final destination, to bring back stranded passengers affected by recent bad weather conditions.

The airline worked with Turkish authorities to exceptionally operate the flight and help return passengers home safely. Gulf Air is amongst the first airlines to operate such a special flight out of Istanbul amidst this weather crisis that affected flights due to recent closure in Istanbul.

While Gulf Air is committed to the safety of its passengers and crew members, it affirms its continuous efforts to operate similar flights from Istanbul to return all stranded passengers at the soonest. - TradeArabia News Service
