Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing has been ranked No. 7 in The World’s 50 Best Hotels, rising seven places from its No. 14 debut in 2025. The recognition marks the hotel’s second consecutive appearance on the prestigious global list.
The fourth edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels was
announced at an awards ceremony in Paris, bringing together leading hotels
across six continents and representatives from the global travel and
hospitality industry.
The latest ranking strengthens Mandarin Oriental Qianmen,
Beijing’s standing in the international luxury hospitality sector, following
its first appearance on the list last year.
The property comprises 42 private courtyard houses located
within traditional hutong neighbourhoods along Beijing’s Central Axis. Guided
by the philosophy of “Unveil Beijing's Soul”, the hotel incorporates the
capital’s cultural heritage into its architecture, accommodation and guest
experiences.

Since opening, the hotel has expanded its destination

Its contemporary cocktail bar, TIAO, was also included in
the 2026 Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, extending the property’s recognition into
the food, beverage and lifestyle sectors.
The hotel said its latest ranking reflects continued
recognition from the international travel community and hospitality
professionals for its service, accommodation and destination-led experiences.
Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing said it will continue
