Global Hotel Alliance adds four new member brands

Global Hotel Alliance has expanded its international portfolio with the addition of four new hotel brands, strengthening the reach of its GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The new partner brands — Almanac Hotels, Regal Hotels International, STORY Hotels & Resorts and TemptingPlaces Collection — add 22 properties to the alliance, expanding its presence in major travel hubs including Hong Kong, Barcelona, Vienna and Prague, while introducing new destinations such as Zagreb and Rabat.

GHA CEO Chris Hartley said: “Our continued expansion reflects the strength of our alliance proposition and the growing desire for collaboration within the independent sector. With the addition of these eclectic brands, we are further diversifying our portfolio and the value we deliver to over 35 million GHA DISCOVERY members. Each of these hotel brands brings its own unique identity and character, enriching the alliance network.”

Family-owned Almanac Hotels is known for its boutique luxury approach rooted in local culture and design, with flagship properties in Barcelona, Vienna and Prague.

 The brand focuses on immersive guest experiences through locally inspired dining, architecture and creative collaborations.

Regal Hotels International, one of Asia’s established hotel operators, contributes 11 properties under its Regal, Regala and iclub brands.

Founded in 1979, the group operates more than 6,800 rooms and over 30 dining venues, primarily in Hong Kong and surrounding markets.

STORY Hotels & Resorts adds five upscale properties across the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian Ocean, combining contemporary luxury with wellness and destination-driven experiences.

 Meanwhile, TemptingPlaces Collection brings a portfolio of boutique luxury hotels known for refined design and gastronomy, including resorts in France and Switzerland.

The expansion follows the opening of 14 additional hotels and resorts within existing GHA brands this year, including new properties in Japan, Italy, Zambia and Australia, further broadening travel options for GHA DISCOVERY members worldwide. -TradeArabia News Service
