Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 1 resumes operations

Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 1 resumed operations on Monday, receiving and operating flights from international airlines as part of a phased reopening plan.

This follows the completion of repair and development work and the upgrading of operational facilities and technical systems, said a report in Kuwait Times.

Passenger traffic returned to T1 under operational procedures designed to ensure smooth air traffic flow and streamlined travel processes, it said.

All facilities and services were fully prepared to receive flights in accordance with the approved plan. The resumption of flights through Terminal 1 is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of the air transport sector and restore the airport’s operational capacity to meet the needs of passengers and airlines, the report said.
