The achievement highlights ongoing efforts by Oman Airports
to enhance operational readiness, modernise facilities and improve customer
services as Salalah continues to experience growing tourism and air traffic,
particularly in Dhofar Governorate.
A series of development initiatives introduced over the past
year contributed to the recognition.
These include the opening of the new Majan Lounge, which has
expanded hospitality offerings and provided travellers with a more comfortable
airport experience.
The airport has also upgraded its family and children's
recreation area, creating a more welcoming environment for passengers during
peak travel periods, including the popular Khareef Dhofar season.
Salalah Airport has further strengthened its commercial
offering by attracting local brands and emerging Omani businesses, giving
passengers access to products and services that showcase the country's culture,
innovation and entrepreneurship.
Operational improvements have also been implemented to
