flydubai to resume direct Dubai–Budapest flights from July 31

flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, will resume direct flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) from 31 July, restoring non-stop air connectivity between the UAE and Hungary.

From July 31 , flydubai will operate three weekly flights (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB).

The frequency will increase to daily operations from October 25 , 2026, providing customers and trade partners with greater scheduling flexibility.

The new direct service will operate as part of the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership.

The reinstated service is designed to meet peak summer demand across leisure, business and visiting friends and relatives (VFR) travel segments, while providing passengers with seamless access to Dubai and flydubai’s network of more than 120 destinations.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said: “The resumption of our Budapest service reaffirms our long-term investment in Hungary and reflects the strong economic and cultural ties between our two nations. Budapest remains one of our most strategic European markets. Reconnecting the Hungarian capital to Dubai enables us to offer greater choice for regional travellers while further solidifying Dubai’s position as a global hub for business, trade and tourism.”
