ITB India 2026 has concluded at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre following three days of business meetings, networking and industry discussions, bringing together international travel companies and key players from India and South Asia.
The fourth in-person edition featured more than 100
exhibiting brands and 600 travel trade buyers representing leisure, MICE,
corporate travel and travel technology.
The event facilitated more than 4,800 one-to-one meetings,
creating opportunities for partnerships and new business connections.
Exhibitors from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, Africa,
Northeast Asia and South America participated, highlighting growing
international interest in India and the wider South Asian travel market.
“ITB India 2026 has once again demonstrated the strong
interest in India and South Asia as important growth markets for the global
travel industry. One of the strongest pieces of feedback we received this year
was the quality of the conversations taking place across the show floor.
Exhibitors and qualified buyers came with clear business objectives, leading to
focused discussions, new connections and opportunities for future
partnerships,” said Darren Seah, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific.
The event also introduced the ITB India Leadership
Roundtable, organised with Simon-Kucher, bringing senior representatives from
tourism, hospitality, travel technology, investment, destinations and
government together for strategic discussions on India’s evolving role in
global tourism.
The Cruise Capsule returned for its second edition, focusing
on India’s cruise market and opportunities linking cruise tourism with MICE.
Meanwhile, the ITB India Conference featured 40 sessions and
80 speakers across four tracks covering Knowledge, MICE & Corporate, Travel
Technology and Experiential Travel.
Discussions examined emerging travel trends, technology,
hospitality and changing traveller expectations.
“ITB India 2026 has once again demonstrated the strong
interest in India and South Asia as important growth markets for the global
travel industry,” Seah added, noting strong international participation and the
value of new event formats.
ITB India will return in 2027, continuing its role as a B2B
