Emirates has broken ground on its new $5.1 billion engineering complex at Dubai South slated to become the world’s most modern and advanced maintenance, repairs and overhaul (MRO) facility, cementing Emirates' and Dubai's leadership in global aviation capability and infrastructure.

Dubai South sees 17pc growth in business aviation 2025

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South recorded a record 20,289 business aviation movements in 2025, marking a 17% increase year-on-year. Q4 alone saw 6,926 movements, up 18% from 2024, the highest private jet activity ever in the emirate.

Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), the aerospace platform of Dubai South, has announced that Dublin-based Avia Solutions Group (ASG), the world’s largest ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) provider, will establish its new regional headquarters at Dubai South.
