HILTON Al Hamra Beach and Golf Resort recently opened its very own Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge, making it the second such lounge in the UAE after Dubai’s Jumeriah Beach Residence neighbourhood.
Featuring spacious outdoor and indoor seating areas, the Mai Tai Lounge comes with calming views of the sea. Boasting Trader Vic’s signature décor, the bar and restaurant offer an exotic concoction of unusual artefacts, tribal masks, and Polynesian food delights. The signature cocktail Hula Hoop, especially designed for the Mai Tai Lounge, is fast becoming a favourite with local residents and in-house guests.
Pedro Guerra Palos, Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge manager, says, “Inspired by the unique and exciting concept of Trader Vic’s, our Mai Tai Lounge is a venue, perfect for sinking into comfortable sofas and sip exotic beverages. Being a top venue in the local dining scene, our lounge brings the spirit of the island into our everyday lives.”
Besides offering island-style tidbits, exotic cocktails and specialty mocktails, Mai Tai Lounge at Hilton Al Hamra Beach and Resort offers a popular Tiki Brunch. Every Friday from noon until 4pm guests can unwind in the island-style location, enjoying live entertainment from Cuba.
Trader Vic’s Mai Tai Lounge, part of Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort, is located in Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra area. The lounge and restaurant is one of six restaurants and bars at the resort.
