New GM joins Four Seasons Amman
The Four Seasons Hotel Amman has appointed Livio Faverio as general manager. Faverio moves from Turkey where he was the opening hotel manager of Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus. He joined Four Seasons in 1993 and has since opened five hotels and has led teams in Milan, London, Cairo and Doha.

New appointments at Media One Hotel
The new Media One Hotel set to open this month has appointed Cora De Conceicao-Stuart as general manager. De Conceicao-Stuart was most recently hotel manager of The Address Hotels and Resorts, Downtown Burj Dubai. Richard Senior has been appointed director of sales and marketing and Didier Gusching as executive chef.

First female GM at Rotana
Rotana announced the appointment of Hala Massaad as general manager of Hazmieh Rotana, Beirut. Massaad joined the hotel industry in 1996 as a trainee receptionist and has made her way up the ladder over the past 13 years. She joined the Rotana group as executive assistant manager of City Centre Rotana, Doha in 2008.

The InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Cyril Mouawad as director of sales & marketing at the InterContinental Regency Bahrain. He has over 12 years of experience and joined IHG in 2002 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Beirut. His previous assignment was director of sales & marketing at the InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon.

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Africa division has appointed Pascal Fitoussi as the director of sales & marketing in Africa. Prior to this, he over saw the sales and marketing of 24 hotels in Paris and most recently was regional director of business development for the biggest hotel in Africa operated by Domina Hotel Group.

Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano has welcomed Todd Cilano (left) as its new general manager. Cilano relocates from Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and has also worked with other Four Seasons properties. The hotel also welcomed Massimiliano (Max) Musto as its new hotel manager.

Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, has announced Stephan Kapek as hotel manager. Kapek joins the hotel from Shangri-La Hotel Beijing where he was resident manager for two years. Kapek has 10 years experience in the Middle East, having worked in several five star hotels in his career.

Kempinski Hotel Ajman recently welcomed a member of Kempinski’s global family for over a decade, Christian Wiendieck, as its new hotel manager. He moves to Ajman from Kempinski Pragelato Village in Italy where he was general manager. The hotel also welcomed Ramzy Andrew Faris as director of sales and marketing.

Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort gets new GM
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas announced the appointment of Didier Tourneboeuf as general manager of Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, in Abu Dhabi’s Liwa Desert. Didier joins Anantara from his position as general manager of Le Royal Méridien, Abu Dhabi, a position he held over a two-year period.
