Villars Palace

Three fabulous new hotels are ready to welcome guests to the picturesque Swiss canton of Vaud this summer, with each offering guests a taste of true Swiss culture, cuisine and hospitality.

They are set in the area’s dramatic mountainous landscapes where natural beauty, history and culture merge seamlessly together.

Villars Palace
Villars Palace, an elegant 19th century building, blends old world luxury with modern world comfort. After two years of intense renovation work, the emblematic palace of Villars-sur-Ollon is entering a new era and has been transformed into an innovative hotel at the foot of the Villars Alpine Resort in the Vaud Alps. With 125 tastefully decorated rooms and suites, the building retains its old-world charm with characteristic arched windows, ceiling mouldings and old columns.

Showing off the region’s gastronomy, La Rôtisserie offers a gourmet menu where seasonal foods are king. The Bar du Palace is the perfect place to explore the creations of the in-house mixologists, a modern design where old and new world cultures combine.

Hôtel des Horlogers
Built with the highest priorities on the local environment in Vaud’s Vallée de Joux, the boutique Hôtel des Horlogers – located steps away from the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet – offers 50 rooms and suites overlooking the Risoud forest, each built using raw materials from the region. The original building dates back to 1857 and tells a long and treasured story of the area’s hospitality roots.

With two restaurants and a third on its way, local food and wine is at the heart of the hotel’s philosophy. Guests can relax at the hotel’s spa, where treatments including facials and massages allow visitors to reconnect to mind, body and soul during their stay in this natural haven, or even work out at the hotel’s 24-hour fitness centre.

Victoria Hotel & Residences
Victoria Hotel & Residences is the largest and most innovative hotel project in the Vaud Alps, nestled in the heart of a spectacular mountain setting, offering a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc massif, the Dents-du-Midi and the Grand Muveran. With 150 rooms, two restaurants - a traditional trattoria and French bistro - a bar specialising in local wines and cocktails, relaxation and well-being area with indoor swimming pool, and several modular workspaces, the hotel is perfect for business or pleasure.

Created with a strong commitment to environmentally friendly tourism practices in keeping with its natural surroundings to reduce wherever possible, the property’s impact on the planet, the hotel is one of many in the area now honouring a commitment to eco-tourism for Vaud.
