IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Hotel Indigo Yogyakarta in partnership with Indonesian real estate developer PT Raka Eka Makmur, with the 180-key hotel scheduled to open in 2029.
The project will mark IHG’s debut in Yogyakarta and expand
its growing Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Indonesia.
The hotel will build on the momentum of Hotel Indigo’s
existing presence in Indonesia, following openings in Bali Seminyak Beach,
Bandung and Bintan.
IHG currently operates three Hotel Indigo properties in the
country, with six more in development across destinations including Bali,
Jakarta and Lombok.

Yogyakarta’s proximity to Borobudur and Prambanan, alongside
improved connectivity through Yogyakarta International Airport, is supporting
