The inaugural WTM Spotlight Riyadh was held from September 8–10 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, bringing together Saudi and international travel organisations for three days of business, networking and knowledge exchange. Saudi Tourism Authority CEO Ageel AlShaibani opened the event on behalf of Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb. Organised by global events company RX in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the event brought together destinations, hospitality groups, airlines, travel technology companies, buyers and investors. The conference programme focused on Saudi Vision 2030, outbound travel opportunities, innovation, artificial intelligence and connected tourism experiences. Exhibitors included flyadeal, Hilton, Accor, MSC Cruises and Etihad Airways.
