Accor names new Cluster Commercial Director for two top Dubai hotels

Accor has announced the appointment of Heather Galbraith as the new Cluster Commercial Director for Raffles Dubai and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk.

Accor has announced the appointment of Heather Galbraith as the new Cluster Commercial Director for Raffles Dubai and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk.
 
In her new role, Galbraith will take on the executive responsibility of leading the cluster commercial team and commercial strategy for Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, the second-largest Sofitel property in the world, with 498 rooms and suites, 97 serviced apartments, five signature dining venues including two world-famous chefs as well as Sofitel Spa with L’Occitane.
 
She also looks forward to further positioning the iconic Raffles Dubai, known for its unparalleled guest experience reflected in the hotel’s number one position in Dubai for the past six years and being amongst the top 10 hotels worldwide on TripAdvisor in 2020, to achieve its ambitious targets across all market segments. 
 
With more than 25 years of experience in luxury travel and hospitality, Galbraith has held various strategic and leadership roles for Emirates Holidays and Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the UK, both at property and corporate level, where she has successfully implemented numerous strategic initiatives.
