Ateca Hotel Academy set to collaborate with Tashkent institute
Ateca Hotel Academy Hub and Yeoju Institute of Technology in Tashkent (YTIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration in the fields of culture, education, science and technology.
Ateca Hotel Academy Hub, part of Ateca Holding which is focused on development of tourism in Uzbekistan, and Yeoju Institute of Technology in Tashkent (YTIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration in the fields of culture, education, science and technology.
One of the highlights of the agreement is that YTIT hospitality and tourism students will have the opportunity to become interns at Ateca Hotels, according to a joint statement.
YTIT Rector Prof. Janpolat Kudaybergenov said: “The landscape of higher education is changing rapidly. Collaboration with strategic partners is crucial for overall development and progress of our students. In addition to our academic programmes we are increasingly focusing on practical education to nurture leaders and, therefore, excited to make new connections with a business group like Ateca.
"Our approach is designed to lay a foundation for careers with a view to work placement through tailored development programmes related to the field of study giving students the opportunity to immerse themselves in their preferred business areas. Such exchange prepares them for the real world with advanced skills that maximise their potential.”
Ateca Holding Vice Chairman Hina Bakht said: “This mutual understanding will allow both parties to benefit from each other’s intellectual strengths through greater engagement ensuring the highest quality of practical learning and on the job training.
"As part of this exchange programme we are pleased to conduct special lectures at YTIT campus as well as welcome interns at our hotels which will give students an opportunity to learn while working and create a broad and qualified pool of applicants.”
As part of this agreement, specialists from Ateca Hotel Academy Hub will conduct master classes, advanced training and courses as well as scientific and practical conferences and seminars and other events in the culture, education, science and technology fields.-TradeArabia News Service
