
Ascott, a global leader in lodging, is set to significantly expand its luxury brand, The Crest Collection, in the Middle East. The move is part of the company's broader growth strategy, introducing new properties in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The expansion into these key markets underscores Ascott's commitment to providing culturally immersive and distinctive luxury stays, a core promise of The Crest Collection, which emphasises "A Story Behind Every Door. The brand's debut in the UAE will be marked by the Al Mahra Resort by The Crest Collection, slated to open in early 2027. Located on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, this 539-key beachfront resort will be the brand's first resort globally. Named after the Arabic word for a young female horse, it aims to blend Arabian heritage with contemporary design, promising a fusion of tradition and modern luxury. The Crest Collection will establish its presence in Saudi Arabia with a new property in Riyadh, opening in 2028. Situated on King Fahd Road, this development will offer a mix of hotel rooms, serviced apartments, and suites. Amenities are set to include specialty dining, a reading room lounge and café, wellness facilities, and state-of-the-art meeting spaces, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
