Dubai Safari Park has announced a remarkable 67 per cent increase in travel trade sales during its ongoing sixth season. This surge marks the park's most successful season to date, characterised by record visitor numbers and a reinforced commitment to wildlife conservation.
Ahmad AlKhoori, Head of Special Parks and Recreational Facilities, Dubai Municipality told TTN, “At Dubai Safari Park, we've cultivated a dedicated B2B sales team, viewing our partners as strategic collaborators rather than mere sales channels, and we actively provide them with direct contacts for opportunities. We're intently focused on attracting diverse markets, including residents, GCC countries, and the Russian, Chinese and Indian markets. “Our sales strategy is built on offering multi-faceted experiences that appeal to families, couples, and individual travellers alike. We go beyond mere entertainment, providing enriching encounters focused on education, wildlife protection, and animal welfare. “Looking ahead, we're already preparing for our seventh season, set to launch on October 14, 2025, which will feature new and exciting experiences. We are committed to sustaining our B2B sales growth, a success driven by our active presence at events like ATM and our ability to offer diverse, meaningful experiences that extend far beyond traditional tourism,” said AlKhoori. Dubai Safari Park’s enhanced strategy to embed wildlife conservation more deeply into every aspect of the visitor experience includes allocating a portion of all admission revenues to wildlife rescue, care and research initiatives. To further underscore its purpose-driven positioning, Dubai Safari Park hosted a series of conservation-focused activations at the recently concluded ATM 2025. These included interactive talks and knowledge-sharing sessions designed to highlight regional conservation efforts and emphasise tourism's vital role in safeguarding natural ecosystems. Responding to a growing demand for ethical wildlife encounters, the park continues to upgrade its facilities. It boasts an on-site veterinary hospital, a dedicated animal care and research centre, and a comprehensive breeding programme for endangered species. Educational initiatives promote sustainable practices, combat illegal poaching, and raise awareness about the illegal wildlife trade. Purpose-driven experiences, such as the Junior Park Rangers programme and the Nighttime Safari, introduced this season, have strengthened visitors' connections to nature and deepened their understanding of conservation themes. AlKhoori explains the Dubai Safari Park proposition: “We are home to a diverse population of over 3,000 animals, representing 250 species, and our commitment to wildlife conservation remains paramount. A recent joy was the birth of Onyx, a baby rhino, a few months ago and Save the Rhino Day on May 1st, an event close to our hearts. “Behind our success is our state-of-the-art infrastructure. We boast a full veterinary hospital equipped with advanced technologies, supported by a dedicated zoology team, nutrition specialists, and a robust research centre.”
