Foxhills unveils bedroom refurbishment

Foxhills Club & Resort recently revealed the latest phase of its ongoing transformation, with the refurbishment of nearly half its hotel rooms now complete and available for guest bookings.

The significant upgrade represents a cornerstone of the hotel’s wider £3m investment project, set to continue into 2026 with a focus on bedrooms and food & beverage.

Situated in the elegant Lyne House with views of the 19th-century manor house, golf course, tennis courts, art studio or courtyard swimming pool, the newly refurbished rooms have been meticulously designed to offer a 'home away from home' feel. Blending cosy, traditional features with bold contemporary accents, each space reflects the charm of the 400-acre estate while introducing refined modern comforts. The interiors echo the warmth and elegance of Foxhills, giving the typical country house feel.

 

Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort opens its doors  

Following an extensive £20 million transformation, the five-star Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort officially opened its doors and celebrated the start of a new era. Elevating the Scottish heritage hotel experience with a vibrant new identity, Mar Hall blends its history and elegance with a whimsical, storytelling design concept and warm-spirited, experience-driven guest service. 

Mar Hall houses 74 luxurious guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, two bars, and an enticing collection of grand spaces, soon to be joined by a 22-person private cinema, gaming room and billiards room.

Just 10 minutes from Glasgow International Airport, a sweeping driveway leads through the estate to Mar Hall’s iconic Victorian mansion. On arrival, guests are immersed in a sense of immediate escapism as they enter a palm-canopied parlour and a newly reimagined reception space.

 

Montcalm Mayfair introduces sensitive luxury

Montcalm Mayfair, Autograph Collection has opened its doors following a thoughtful two-year renovation, introducing the new concept of sensitive luxury to London’s hotel landscape.

This landmark refurbishment has been led by award-winning architects Holland Harvey and interior designers Studio Est and Studio Mica. The restoration preserves the building's historical integrity while incorporating sustainable design and modern amenities.

The Whiteley ushers in a new era

The Whiteley, London’s first department store, has been reimagined as a landmark residential and hospitality destination. Marking the pinnacle of its eight-year transformation, councillors, residents, stakeholders, professional teams, neighbours and The Whiteley Community Foundation, recently gathered to celebrate the grand opening of this magnificent, storied building.

Originally completed in 1911 by William Whiteley, Whiteley’s department store was once a global emporium renowned for its ability to procure anything from a pin to an elephant. Today, The Whiteley’s regeneration breathes new life into this historical icon, whilst forming the cornerstone of Queensway’s ambitious £3 billion revival, the biggest investment the area has ever seen.
