Cruise Saudi has named industry veteran Sture Myrmell as the new President of Aroya Cruises, the Kingdom’s pioneering domestic cruise brand.
Myrmell, who officially steps into the role on April 1, 2026, succeeds Dr. Jörg Rudolph and will report directly to Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Myrmell brings a formidable track record from leadership roles at Cunard, Seabourn, and Princess Cruises, as well as his time as President of Carnival UK and Carnival Australia. Based in Jeddah, he is tasked with steering Aroya’s commercial strategy and operational growth while deepening the brand's commitment to authentic Arabian hospitality.
