King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia received the Level One Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI), becoming the first airport in Saudi Arabia to earn this recognition and joining the list of globally accredited airports in this field, reported SPA.
The accreditation is among the most prominent international certifications
granted to airports committed to implementing best practices in universal
accessibility by providing an inclusive travel environment that meets the needs
of all passengers, including the elderly and persons with disabilities, in line
with the highest global standards.
