Saudi Arabia sets dates for TOURISE 2027
Minister of Tourism and TOURISE Chairman Ahmed Al Khateeb announces TOURISE 2027

Saudi Arabia has confirmed the return of its flagship global tourism platform, scheduling the TOURISE 2027 Summit from March 23 to 25, 2027 in Riyadh under the theme ‘Alliances That Move the World’.

Convened under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the initiative - led by Minister of Tourism and TOURISE Chairman Ahmed Al Khateeb - seeks to shift the conversation from high-level panel debates to concrete dealmaking across the travel ecosystem.

For regional travel trade leaders, the multi-day event is designed to connect global tourism ministers with hotel developers, institutional investors, airline operators, and travel technology vendors to broker cross-border commercial pacts.

Backed jointly by the Ministry of Tourism and the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), TOURISE 2027 will address key operational pinch-points facing destination managers and operators across four core pillars: sustainability, digital transformation, heritage preservation, and human capital development. The platform will also host an expanded Innovation Zone, showcasing AI-driven distribution tools, automated border solutions, and next-generation guest-management tech aimed at hotel chains and DMCs.

Alongside the summit programming, TOURISE has opened global submissions for its second annual TOURISE Awards, which evaluate international destinations, hospitality brands, and travel tech providers on measurable industry impact.

The 2027 gathering comes as the Kingdom accelerates its inbound target toward 150 million domestic and international visitors by 2030, supported by new flight connections, the rollout of the unified GCC tourist visa, and the ongoing delivery of luxury coastal inventory across the Red Sea and Diriyah.

With commercial travel groups increasingly eyeing the Kingdom’s emerging secondary destinations, including Asir, AlUla, and Taif, the March 2027 platform is positioned as a primary marketplace for operators looking to secure hotel supply agreements and inbound contracts.
