AlUla, Saudi Arabia’s emerging heritage destination, is gearing up for a busy winter season by significantly expanding its network of international and regional flights. This increased air connectivity provides the travel trade with enhanced options for booking clients into the northwest Arabian gem during the cooler months.

The expanded winter schedule sees AlUla International Airport welcoming a total of 27 flights per week between October 26, 2025 and March 28, 2026.

Rami AlMoallim, Vice President of Destination Marketing & Management Office, tells TTN, “A major highlight is the reintroduction of Royal Jordanian’s twice-weekly service between AlUla and Jordan’s capital, Amman. This route holds cultural significance as it strengthens ties between two key sites of the ancient Nabataean civilisation: Jordan’s Petra and AlUla’s Hegra—Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.”

Qatar Airways will operate three weekly connections via Doha. Given Qatar Airways’ extensive network, this service instantly connects AlUla to potential visitors across every continent, significantly expanding the destination’s global reach.

The winter schedule also includes two SAUDIA flights daily, one each from Riyadh and Jeddah; five Flynas flights weekly, connecting from Riyadh and Dammam; and three Flydubai flights weekly between Dubai and AlUla.

This seasonal uplift ensures that visitors from key global markets can easily access AlUla’s remarkable natural landscapes, luxury hospitality, rich heritage, and diverse events scheduled under the AlUla Moments calendar, making it a highly marketable destination for the winter season.
