Hahnair has surpassed 60 million insolvency-safe tickets issued on its HR-169 ticket stock since 2010, marking a milestone for its complimentary Securtix insolvency protection.
Automatically included with every HR-169 ticket, Securtix
provides reimbursement when a flight is cancelled because of an operating
carrier’s insolvency.
The protection also assists passengers stranded after
starting their journey, covering refunds for unused tickets and potentially
costs for replacement transportation, accommodation, meals and other expenses.
Travel agents can
also receive compensation for additional customer-support efforts.
More than 100,000 travel agencies across 190 markets can
issue flights from over 350 partner airlines using Hahnair’s HR-169 ticket
stock, combining global airline access with ticketing security and service.
