The upcoming fourth edition of Riyadh Season aims to draw 10 million to 12 million visitors, said General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh.
"We expect 10 million to 12 million visitors this year, and we target more than a million tourists from outside the kingdom," Al-Sheikh told the Asharq News channel, according to a Zawya report. The festival, which lasts five months, is expected to begin in October 28.
"The Riyadh Season, in its fourth edition, has achieved 40% of its targeted revenue through sponsorship and some large deals even before it's started," he said.
Riyadh Season 2023 will be historic, Al-Sheikh promised. "It will have an unprecedented, historical opening ceremony that the world has never seen before,’ he said.
